The Camp Transformation Center Opens Another New Location
The Camp Transformation Center is incredibly excited to announce that we have just opened a new franchise location in Whittier California. We had a chance to catch up with the Owner Nick Bohorquez, his team, and even jump in for a workout. We wanted to get the inside scoop on what it was like to be a franchise owner with The Camp TC. Here’s what Nick had to say.
Why did you choose to franchise with The Camp?
I chose to franchise with The Camp because I had been a trainer in the past and have seen the positive impact that The Camp brings to people’s lives. I believed in their business model, and I also have a passion for fitness and helping people.
What were you most scared about as a new franchise owner?
As a firm believer in The Camps mission statement, I was not scared one bit. I knew there was going to be some hiccups along the way but that comes with every business. I knew that if we took care of our Camp members that everything would work out!
What excited you most about being a new franchise owner?
I think being able to come back to my hometown in the city of Whittier, CA to help give back to the community excited me the most.
When did you open your first location? Are you looking to be a multi-unit owner?
I opened my first location on June 1st, 2022. My goal is to open 5 locations within the next 5 years!
Now that the location is open, what do you like most about being a franchise owner?
Now that the location is open, the thing I like the most is being and seeing our members go through their health and fitness transformation. I’m excited to see them step on that scale with a smile on their face. I’m excited to help our members believe in themselves and that their fitness goals are reachable. I am excited to build a culture at our Whittier location where people love to workout.
What help & guidance did the support team provide that you found useful/helpful?
I believe a lot of the marketing has helped spread the word of The Camp. We have had great training from the sales team at corporate. Dani and Lily have been a tremendous part of the success of our opening.
What advice would you give to a new franchise owner?
There may be some long nights and hiccups along the way but as long as you remember your “Why?”, it’ll always be worth it! I would not want to be a part of any other franchise but The Camp.
Lastly, tell us a fun fact about yourselves.
