Sometimes the strongest belief in a business comes from experiencing its impact yourself.

About six months before his 50th birthday, Robert Estrada joined The Camp Huntington Beach when Kyle Glasgow first opened the location. With in-depth coaching during workouts and nutrition guidance he could apply outside the club, Robert transformed his health—losing about 60 pounds from his heaviest weight.

But his Camp journey didn’t end with his own transformation.

Years later, Robert and Kyle are now business partners and the new owners of The Camp Whittier.

From Transformation to Ownership

Robert’s experience gave him a genuine passion for The Camp and ultimately inspired him to make fitness the next chapter of his professional life.

Now, his goal is simple: help others become better, stronger versions of themselves.

For Kyle, the acquisition represents another milestone—becoming a multi-unit franchise owner and applying the experience and best practices he’s developed across multiple Camp businesses.

Together, they’re already investing in Whittier’s future.

The facility has been renovated to reflect The Camp’s newer brand standards, new weights and equipment have been added, and additional programming is coming. Their first relaunched 6-Week Challenge attracted more than 60 participants.

The Camp Experience Comes Full Circle

Robert first experienced The Camp as a member looking for change. Today, he’s creating that same opportunity for an entire community.

It’s a powerful example of what can happen when personal transformation becomes purpose—and purpose becomes ownership.
