Day in The Life of A Franchisee (Andrew Cruz)

Andrew is a Marine veteran, and he thanks the organization for helping him become so disciplined and mission driven. He admits that before joining he was lazy, didn’t wake up early and didn’t have the drive that he does today. But all that changed once he learned firsthand how the world works.

My journey as a franchisee has been a dynamic evolution since August 2020, marking the inception of our first location, followed by the establishment of a second in January 2021, and the opening of a third just nine months later. In the initial 14 months, I successfully managed three thriving locations, even selling one for profit.

What drew me to this franchise model was its unique ability to cultivate a special culture that scales seamlessly. Witnessing from an outsider’s perspective, I recognized the franchise’s exceptional capacity to duplicate a sense of community on a grand scale. The franchise, aptly named ‘The Camp,’ transcends being a mere fitness center; it has become a cherished community and second home for many, offering individuals the chance to be part of something larger than themselves. This appeal resonates strongly with people’s inherent desire to belong, whether to family, clubs, or friend groups. The key to success lies in maintaining The Camp’s distinctive culture, which naturally attracts individuals seeking such opportunities.

The robust training and unwavering support provided by the franchise owner have been instrumental in my success, and through conversations with fellow franchisees, it’s clear that The Camp’s commitment to training and support at the corporate level is exceptionally high. Their dedication to ensuring everyone’s success is not just commendable but a driving force that inspires all of us to crush it and win.
