Why the fitness industry is booming & why now is the time to franchise with The Camp
It may sound surprising to some but business for The Camp is booming in 2021. With new locations opening in multiple states, new franchises being awarded, and national expansion underway, The Camp is poised to be one of the hottest fitness brands in the country. Why? Well I think for many of us the start of 2021 was filled with a lot of uncertainty.
However, with COVID restrictions being lifted across the country this past month. Things are starting to return to normal, meaning that social distancing is disappearing, businesses are operating at full capacity, and face masks are no longer required. This boosted confidence in safety has led to people wanting to get out of the house and get back to their routines which for many included working out regularly.
Throughout the pandemic many people began to re-evaluate their life, priorities and goals. Many found that fitness was much more important to them than they had previously realized. As we know, being active and participating in a regular exercise program can lead to happier, healthier, and longer lives. Allowing us to spend more time with our family and friends. The Camp TC offers programs geared toward people who are looking to implement real change in their lives. In fact our patented 6-week challenge is so successful that members often complete multiple challenges in a year and achieve success they’ve never imagined possible with other exercise programs. Many who were stuck at home had limited or no access to weight training equipment, fitness facilities, or exercise routines. People that were able to exercise at home found that they missed the camaraderie and the sense of community that being part of a gym brought to their lives. The Camp TC has created a culture and community unrivaled by other fitness programs. Our AFF (Awesome Fit Family) was there to support our members through the pandemic with virtual workouts, happy hours, coffee & education sessions, nutrition seminars and more. This accountability and support is still present in all our clubs and is part of our promise to our members to always work to get them the results they deserve, making us one of the strongest fitness brands in America today.
Once the pandemic ended and people were ready to get back to the gym, many of them found that their local health club had unfortunately shut down. Currently this has created a surplus of people looking to join a gym with less competition. Because of our strong leadership The Camp TC was able to retain over 95% of our clubs post pandemic, leading to high member retention, and lots of referrals from members who were excited to share their pandemic success with co-workers and family members who were as fortunate.
In a nutshell there is an increased demand for fitness in America, a greater importance on personal health, and less brands competing in the fitness space.
These factors together are all contributing to the exponential growth of The Camp TC in 2021. In fact from 2020 to 2021 The Camp climbed up over 200 spots on Entrepreneurs list of the top 500 franchises in America and currently sits at #166.
