The Camp Awards Another NEW Franchise in 2022

Congratulations to JJ Kunawongse on becoming the newest franchise owner at The Camp Transformation Center. JJ began his journey with The Camp 6 years ago in 2016 as a member of The Camp Covina. From there he went on to be a member at various other Camp locations (East Los Angeles, La Puente, Santa Ana, Corona) and absolutely fell in love with the brand.

JJ told me that The Camp had such a positive impact on his life in so many various aspects: physically, mentally, and emotionally that he wanted to pay it forward and share that joy with others. JJ would achieve this goal by getting involved at one of our newest locations, The Camp Brea, as the Assistant Director. Being involved in the day-to-day operations allowed him to impact members’ lives in a whole new way. He would become the catalyst for many members beginning their fitness journey. JJ said that he really liked this and wanted to step it up a notch and so he began the process of becoming a franchise owner.

He felt that by being a franchise owner he could increase the amount of people he helped achieve a healthy lifestyle. JJ said that the best possible way to do this was by opening a Camp location in a community that is currently underserved by our brand.

When asked what he liked most about the prospect of owning his own business JJ said “I’m most excited about reaching out and impacting the community to live a healthier lifestyle, and meet the market demand”

JJ is a true fitness enthusiast and an entrepreneur at heart as he currently co-owns another business. We are very excited to see where his journey takes him.  Stay tuned for more information on The Camp Tustin/Orange in the weeks to come. JJ is currently targeting early 2023 for the Grand Opening.
