Erica Sierra Opens Another New Camp Location Opens in 2021
That’s right our very own Erica Sierra has opened her second Camp location in Downtown Long Beach, CA. We had a chance to catch up with her this past weekend and asked her about her experience as a franchise owner with The Camp TC and here’s what she had to say.
Why did you choose to franchise with The Camp? “I originally joined The Camp Chino as a 20lb Challenger and absolutely fell in love with the workouts and the community”
When did you open your first location? “I acquired an existing location in 2018 – The Camp North Long Beach”
What do you like most about being a franchise owner? – “I love the brand and what it represents. It is so fulfilling to be a part of someone’s fitness journey as one day I was also in their shoes”
Why did you choose to open another location? – “My territory needed that 2nd location as we weren’t able to service our South Long beach community. We are beyond excited to finally be there!”
What was the most challenging part of opening your new location? – “This 2nd location has a great story that I hope inspires someone to never give up on their dreams! Finding the perfect location was the first challenge and in March of 2020 the pandemic hit and we were in the middle of our build-out. The most heartbreaking part of this journey was experiencing the vandalism that occurred on May 31, 2020. But this sure didn’t stop me, this gave me that extra motivation to give this location the opportunity to be GREAT!!! And here we are creating an awesome experience for our clients!”
What help does the support team provide that you found useful? – “Ron was essential in putting all of our systems in place to be able to get us started. He checked in and gave me and my team the support we needed to get everything ready to be open.”
