Multi-Unit Franchise Owner Signs Lease for 7th Location
The Camp Transformation Center placed a major focus on development in 2022. With enhanced support, higher revenues, and a booming fitness industry this has been one of our most successful years to date. A quick recap of expansion shows that The Camp opened 9 new locations across the US, awarded 18 new locations, and has over 20 in development for 2023. Existing owners continue to thrive within our franchise system and accounted for almost 40% of our annual growth. Multi-unit ownership is a great benchmark to measure the viability of a franchise system. Multi-unit ownership means that existing owners expand into a second, third, fourth location, and so on. They can quickly scale the business because of low-overhead, low staffing requirements, established systems, high product demand, and amazing customer service.
One of The Camp TC’s most successful owners is Felix who has just signed the lease for a new location in Fontana, CA. This location will better help The Camp serve the fitness community within that market. Now both West and East Fontana will have their own Camp facilities. Thus, ensuring we continue to be the most dominant fitness brand within the region.
Once open, Fontana will be Felix’s 7th Camp location, and one of two facilities he’s opening in 2023. Felix’s other new location, in Sacramento, CA, has already begun construction and is The Camp’s second location to open in Sacramento County. As an experienced owner Felix knows the importance of having a strong launch to help alleviate the additional expenses associated with expansion. The Camp TC support center has a dedicated team to help all new franchise owners build a strong foundation from which their new location can grow.
This includes our NCO (New Camp Opening) program. The NCO program is designed to streamline construction while simultaneously building membership and revenue for the new Camp. NCO support includes connecting franchise owners with vendors, coordinating installs, and working with our sales & marketing team to establish campaigns to drive membership. Most new locations strive to open with at least 150 new members. This ensures that new locations launch with high energy workouts that are fun to attend, a strong member-to-member support system, and lots of referrals to drive engagement with our local communities.
